My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

OK, anyone else see the pattern here? These photos show the definition of a lap dog. Look it up on Wikipedia, we have worked hard and hope to add her photo to the definition listing.

This momma was found running frantically around a large shopping area parking lot, pregnant and ready to pop, literally. She stopped parked car to parked car and finally a Good Samaritan saw her and let her in. She has been perfect from that moment on. Why was she there? Why weren't her people looking? Authorities, shelter and security were notified. She was put as found on Facebook but no one showed and she had her pups early in her 10 day stray hold.
In rescue we believe that is a good thing as Cookie and her pups are all getting spayed/neutered and finding loving homes. (Look for pups Macaroon aka Mac, Almond and Chip-the Cookie's Cookie litter).

Mom is around 2 years old, 9 lbs and literally perfect. Both fosters have thought seriously about adopting her or her mini me pup Almond.

From Foster Angie: Cookie is a very well-behaved dog. She loves EVERYONE! She wags her tail when spoken to & curls up in any lap that will have her. She's one of the sweetest, calmest dogs I've ever been around. She barks if she hears something or if someone enters the house & startles her, but she's not a yapper. She is housebroken & prefers to be inside. However, on occasion, she likes to sun herself in the yard. She's great with other dogs, & I can't imagine she would have any issues with cats. She seems completely unfazed by ALL dogs. :)
