My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Will is a young coonhound that was found in rural LA with a bucket stuck on his head. It took days to catch him but the good folks in Denham Springs, LA finally did. He arrived at our vet clinic badly dehydrated with a low heart rate and heartworms. After spending days in the hospital getting hydrated and good food, Will finally started getting better. Will has successfully completed heartworm treatment. He has been neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. He needs a quiet home with people who have the time to devote to helping him become less fearful. He is super sweet even though he is fearful. He has never shown aggression. If you would like more information, please email LoozianaBassetRescue@gmail.com. His adoption fee is $250 and the fee to transport as far as Lisbon, CT using Rescue Road Trips is $185. We check vet references and do home visits prior to an adoption. We require that our dogs be on monthly year round heartworm prevention. Will is patiently waiting for a home to call his own.
