Toby's Story...
Toby was found abandoned, and brought to our sanctuary. He is just the sweetest little guy. He is a short hair grey tabby and white male. Very handsome marking, and a sweet disposition. He loves to play, and run with our other kittens, and can be initially cautious. Toby was estimated to have been born March of 2017.

Toby has been tested for feline leukemia/fiv, been neutered, received his kitten wormer series, has started his kitten vaccine series, and received flea prevention. Toby will require the balance of his kitten vaccines, and his rabies vaccine, all when age appropriate. Our full service kitten adoption package covers the balance of these costs through our veterinarian. As he needs boosters, etc., we will update his profile, if he has not been adopted yet.

We do require a verifiable veterinarian reference prior to scheduling an adoption appointment. We do contact the reference, to make sure we are placing our kitties in loving, responsible new homes. We require a cat carrier be brought to the adoption appointment for secure transport home.

Toby's comprehensive adoption package is $125. Toby must be an INDOOR only kitty.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Toby, a Ashland Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Ashland, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Ashland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ashland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ashland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ashland paves the way for another one to be saved.
