Mama's Info...

Mama's Story...
Mama is a female lab/pit/hound mix. She was found abandoned and fully pregnant in south LA. She was brought to the shelter where they terminated her puppies and fixed her immediately. She is the most loyal and loving dog in the world. She is 2 years old and is the perfect outdoor/running/hiking dog. She is such a mother. At our adoptions Mama cleans and even tries to nurse the other puppies. She is a little fearful of larger dogs but LOVES anyone smaller and willing to play. I am currently boarding Mama until she finds a home. I am happy to show her anytime. Please dont hesitate to contact Jess for more information at davis.jess@yahoo.com or (818) 271-0653

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mama, a Los Angeles Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
