My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Well hello! My name is Stella, like in the 1951 movie 'A StreetCat Named Desire.' I'm a stunningly beautiful, sweet snuggle-bunny of a seal point Snowshoe/ Siamese mix gal who was born about July 2016. I have the proverbial Snowshoe's inverted white 'V' on my nose and white paws as well as the Snowshoe's electrifying Liz Taylor baby blues. My favorite spot in my foster home is on my mommy's bed, where I love to snuggle with her at night.
As you'll learn from the attached 'Cats 101 Snowshoe' video that appeared on Animal Planet, I love to be showered with attention, but this attention is hard for me to get in a multi-cat foster home and when my mom works all day! I am very much a lady and just love for my foster mom to take care of me. I can even be a bit sassy when she's late with my food.
Things were not always so idyllic prior to my arriving in my wonderful foster home. I had hardscrabble beginnings fending for myself on the street until my foster mom took me in. What a relief! I have taken very easily to a pampered life indoors. Because I probably had to fend off dogs when I was a stray, I am not fond of the family dog, even though he is very gentle and cat-friendly.
I hope you've fallen in love with my pretty face and that my story has touched your heart. So come meet me today, and I promise you'll fall in love with my sweet self!
Stella is updated on shots, spayed, dewormed, microchipped, FIV/ FeLV negative, and ready for her indoor-only home. No de-clawing permitted.
