Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Do you have a young dog that needs a fun, active playmate? Nicky is for you! Are you a runner or walker who needs a companion to go with you? Nicky is for you! Do you have a middle-aged dog that needs to get up and play more? Nicky is for you! Nickel (we call him Nicky) is about 1 year old and weighs 12 lbs. He was found running around with two other dogs and was taken in by a Good Samaritan after his owner could not be found. Nicky gets along really well with the other dogs in his foster home, loves his people and loves attention from the people he knows . He also loves to play with his toys and will throw them all over the place. Nicky is one sweet boy that you really would not want to miss knowing. Please note that we do not recommend him to families with children under 5. We are a RESCUE GROUP, not a shelter, and all of our animals are in foster homes. To start the adoption process, email us at adoptions@earstexas.org requesting an application. Submitting an application does not commit you in any way, but helps us make the best match between people and our available dogs. Your current or past dogs must be inside dogs who have been spayed/neutered and are on heartworm prevention. All of the dogs in our program are inside dogs and are completely vetted including all vaccinations, spayed/neutered, free of internal parasites, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention before adoption. Our adoption process includes an application, check of vet records or personal references, interview, neutral site meet & greet with the dog and your family, and a home visit.
