Tivoli is an 8 month, 8 lb, chiweenie mix. Tivoli has very dachshund dominate features. Poor Tivoli was owner surrendered to a shelter on the border of Mexico. It appears that this lady has not had much experience with humans. She's happy to see people and she wants so badly to be loved. She's awkward to be held because it's not something she's used to. Tivoli is shy when first meeting people and warms up when she realizes you are friendly. Tivoli is looking for a family that can show her what it's like to be a loved family member.

Texas Chihuahua Rescue is based in San Antonio, Texas. All of our adoptable dogs are located in the San Antonio area. Additional photos and videos will be made available to potential adopters upon approval of our online adoption application. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tivoli, a Allentown Chihuahua/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Dachshund for sale in Allentown, or seeking a Chihuahua/Dachshund dog from a breeder in Allentown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Allentown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Allentown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Dachshund breeders who help with Chihuahua/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Allentown paves the way for another one to be saved.
