Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Kinzley was found trotting on the sidewalk on a hot day in June. She was happy to have an EARS volunteer stop to help her because she was so hot, tired, and thirsty. She was taken to a local shelter in the hopes that her owner would come get her. Sadly, it was discovered that her owner had given her away to someone in a parking lot. We were very happy to rescue Kinzley as soon as she was deemed available. She is between 10-11 years old, weighs 17.8 lbs., and is an absolutely WONDERFUL and EASY dog. She likes people and gets along well with the other dogs in her foster home. We have not seen her playing with toys yet and she has not been around cats. Kinzley rides well in the car and is completely housebroken and is crate trained. The vet felt that her previous owner had taken very good care of her and said that Kinzley is in really good health. Kinzley would be a great pet for someone who wants a calm, sweet, lovable pet.
We are a RESCUE GROUP, not a shelter, and all of our animals are in foster homes. To start the adoption process, email us at adoptions@earstexas.org requesting an application. Submitting an application does not commit you in any way, but helps us make the best match between people and our available dogs. Your current or past dogs must be inside dogs who have been spayed/neutered and are on heartworm prevention. All of the dogs in our program are inside dogs and are completely vetted including all vaccinations, spayed/neutered, free of internal parasites, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention before adoption. Our adoption process includes an application, check of vet records or personal references, interview, neutral site meet & greet with the dog and your family, and a home visit.
