Facts about Lola

  • Breed: German Shepherd Dog Mix
  • Color: Black - With Tan, Yellow Or Fawn
  • Age: Young
  • Size: Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
  • Sex: Female
  • ID#: 632
Lola was found by a Good Samaritan running the streets. She is around 60 pounds and is around 1-1.5 years old. Lola is a German Shepherd mix, and, although she is really strong, she is very sweet. She is a playful puppy with a lot of love to give. She stays in her crate really well, never barks while inside the house, and barely ever whines (and only when she is asking to go potty). She seems to be completely house trained, gets along very well with other dogs, and avoids cats. Lola will be a wonderful and loyal addition to any household and, with a little training, can become an extremely well-trained friend and companion.

We are a RESCUE GROUP, not a shelter, and all of our animals are in foster homes. To start the adoption process, email us at adoptions@earstexas.org requesting an application. Submitting an application does not commit you in any way, but helps us make the best match between people and our available dogs. Your current or past dogs must be spayed or neutered, on heartworm prevention, and be primarily inside dogs or we will not consider your application to adopt. All of the dogs in our program are inside dogs and are completely vetted including all vaccinations, spayed/neutered, free of internal parasites, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention before adoption. Our adoption process includes an application, check of vet records or personal references, interview, neutral site meet & greet with the dog and your family, and a home visit.

About Education & Animal Rescue Society (EARS)

About Our Rescue Group...

Education and Animal Rescue Society is an all volunteer, non-profit Texas corporation whose mission is to educate the public about issues concerning animal behavior and proper care for pets including an emphasis on vaccinations, spay and neutering, and nutrition. Further, EARS is committed to finding homes for unwanted animals that would otherwise perish in shelters. EARS keeps all of its animals in homes with volunteer foster families where the animals are loved and treated like a part of the family until the right permanent home is found.

Goodsearch will donate a penny to EARS virtually every time you search the internet!

Come Meet Our Pets...

We do not have a shelter, as all of our rescue animals are living with foster families in private homes. You can meet one of our animals by appointment once your adoption application had been processed and initially approved (final approval occurs right before the adoption is complete). Also, EARS has Meet and Greet Days at various local venues in the Dallas area. We will post the dates and times of the Meet and Greet Days on this website. Meet and Greet Days are an opportunity for you to meet some of our animals. Unfortunately, not all of our animals make it to every Meet and Greet Day so please contact us at adoptions@earstexas.orgto check if your four-legged friend of choice will be available to meet you. (We do not do any onsite adoptions.)

Our Adoption Process...

If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please email us at adoptions@earstexas.org for an application and more information. Since we are an all volunteer group, please be patient with us in responding to your inquiries. Thank you for your interest in our adoption program!
