Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Leo, a gorgeous, sweet little fella who was sick, hungry and scared when he wandered into the yard of a kind woman. Just a kitten, he was almost blind due to an eyelid malformation. A visit with a vet ophthalmologist confirmed that both eyes needed to be removed. But with veterinary care and a safe place to recover, he's been getting stronger by the day!
It doesn’t take long at all for Leo to acquaint himself with a new environment, and once he does, he will prance, jump and play. He keeps up with his foster family by following the sounds of their feet! Leo is energetic, playful and wildly affectionate. He likes attention and gives lots of love in return with nuzzles and a strong purr.
The photos (all taken before his eye surgery) don't do him justice; he is sooo much fun to be with and so very handsome. The woman who found him says Leo is very sweet and gentle and loved to be petted from the first day she met him.
For more information on Leo please email Paulette at sandpmurillo@sbcglobal.net or call her at 510 604-9020.
Leo is considered a Courtesy Listing. We offer our services to help other responsible rescue groups or individuals find good homes for cats in need. We have screened and interviewed each of the individuals before agreeing to post their cats.
