He was recently diagnosed with wobbler syndrome, a disease of the cervical spine that is commonly seen in large breeds and especially Dobermans. He takes steroids to keep that in check. Because of the Wobbler’s, he only takes short walks and uses a raised bowl to drink and eat from.
Rex is looking for an all-adult home with a fenced-in-yard. He is neutered, micro-chipped, heartworm-tested negative, and up-to-date on vaccines. His adoption fee of $100 includes his food, meds and everything you need to care for Rex.
To meet and possibly adopt him, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for an adoption application. He is currently living in Oak Lawn, Illinois.
