Sonny & Cher. Lucy & Ricky. Fred & Wilma. Add “Skeeter & Skooter” to the mix and you get the cutest and sweetest couple ever (and maybe the funniest, too!!!). Skeeter is an Imperial Shih-Tzu who lived with his family from the time he was a puppy. When he was 7 years old, the family got him a little friend: Skooter a "mini" Shih Tzu, and the two of them became the best of friends. Fast forward 5 years, and the family has fallen on hard times, unable to take care of them. When they contacted us, we didn't have the heart to turn them away; we knew Skeeter & Skooter would be otherwise given up to an overcrowded shelter where their future would be grim. So Skeeter & Skooter are chilling in a foster home while we've made the promise to find them a home where they'll be able to continue their bonded friendship for many more years to come!
These two may be small but they have big personalities. And, you may ask, what do they spend their days doing??? Leisurely play time, cuddling with each other, invading any human lap that is vacant at the time, sleeping, running in the back yard and walks in the neighborhood. Oh, and did we mention they love treats? Treats are very high on the priority list!! They are both super friendly and always come running with a tail wagging Skeeter is an Imperial Shih Tzu, he's 12 years old, weighs about 13 pounds and is very healthy. Skooter is a "mini" Shih Tzu, she's 5 years old, weighs about 9 pounds and is very healthy.
