My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Linus and his sister Lucy. They are certainly quite adorable! Sadly when they first arrived at the shelter they were absolutely terrified, especially Linus Luckily some dedicated volunteers vowed to help these two angels get over their fear and trust people again. The transformation so far has been astonishing! Lucy will know jump in your lap and give lots of love. Linus is still a little more cautious, but he will also come sit in your lap and is a sweet boy. Even though they've come a long way they will still need someone who is patient and understanding to help them work through their fear. They are just 8 months old with their whole lives ahead of them. They need a lot of extra love. Linus weighs 18 lbs and Lucy weighs 16 lbs. They were brought to the shelter on 6/3/17 by a person who had been caring for them while their human had surgery. A month after this person took them in, the owner still hadn't come to get them and their phone number was mysteriously disconnected. They are current on their vaccines and upon adoption will be spayed/neutered, and micro chipped. Linus' ID # is 596669. They have both tested negative for heart worms. The siblings are currently not on the adoption floor due to overcrowding and space issues. So please ask about them at the front desk and the staff will be more than happy to bring them out for you to meet. They would love to be adopted together, however it is not required and they can go to separate homes.

When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, the names are oftentimes made up by volunteers.
