Sensational SADIE is the doggie equivalent of a “turn key” home! This girl is potty trained, rides wonderfully in the car, and doesn’t chew on things that don’t belong to her. SADIE loves to both give and receive love. However, she isn’t obnoxious in order to get attention and/or affection. She minds her manners. She can often be found with her sweet head on her foster mom’s chest as they catch up on their TV shows.
SADIE is a well adjusted girl who is thrilled to go anywhere and is lovely on her strolls around the neighborhood. She is the kind of pooch who would be a fantastic traveling or hiking companion. She is very comfortable in new environments. Her manners are so nice that she could even go to work with you if your office is dog friendly. If it isn’t, no big deal. Super-obedient SADIE walks right in her crate and lays down when her foster mom says “go to bed.”
SADIE is constantly surrounded by children; she is fantastic with them. Different neighborhood children walk in and out of her foster home on a daily basis and she is always happy to greet them. She gets along with dogs of all ages and sizes. SADIE has successfully shared her foster home with both little puppies and large adult dogs. She also shares her foster home with a cat, however we think she would prefer a forever home without feline family members.
SADIE is the perfect age of 2 years old…past the annoying puppy stuff, but ready to make happy memories for more than a decade. If you are longing for a couch potato who also relishes fetch, walks, and play time, SADIE is your girl!
SADIE is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations.
Her $450 adoption fee includes interstate health certificate and transport to the New England area.

All of our dogs start their journey in Memphis, Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted. Once adopted, they travel via one of our transport partners to their new forever homes. We use Alpha Dog Pet Transport for our New England, Nashville, and Knoxville adoptions (https://alphadogtransport.com) and The Road Home Pet Transport for our Midwest adopters (https://www.facebook.com/roadhomepettransport).
Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well-educated decision from well qualified staff.
Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Woof River is 100% volunteer operated. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
