We call this litter "The More, the Merrier" because what else do you say when yet another unwanted litter is dropped at your doorstep??!! We can happily and confidently say this is the last litter from a momma dog who is on the books to be spayed the second she's ready. She's owned by a very nice elderly man who now fully recognizes the urgency to spay and neuter his dogs. In exchange for us helping him with these babies, he has agreed to let us spay/neuter his dogs so there are no more . . . which will make us all the Merrier, indeed!!
These seven babies are just about the fattest, merriest puppies we've ever seen!! They've been lovingly raised around people, kids, cats and dogs giving them the best start an unwanted litter could ever hope for. (Of course, we know they're VERY wanted now!!) They are very social, friendly, and all over your feet and ankles with happy affection. The elderly man took excellent care of them until we got them into a terrific foster home. Momma is a super sweet Lab-mix but clearly had a few "boyfriends"! It doesn't get sweeter than Maverick! And look at him -- he has the most adorable markings! It's almost like he's not even real!! He's about 7 weeks old and he is a very healthy boy! He'll be ready to come up mid-July.
