Mocara is a lovely lady. She is good with people, very polite when she meets strangers, and walks nicely on leash. Mocara is also good with big and small dogs as she is now in a foster home with over 50 rescued dogs. She is good with young children and loves the foster’s family son with all her heart. Mocara is doing very well in her foster home and has started basic obedience training. She is one smart girl and learns everything at an amazing pace. Mocara is also crate-trained and house-trained.

Mocara’s Rescue Story

Mocara was rescued by a kind lady and brought to a no kill shelter with limited resources. The shelter is under staff and is not financially sound to keep all dogs until they can find homes. Mocara was scheduled to be released to the mountain to live as homeless dogs. A kind volunteer was really sad and called their foster mom now for help. Mocara’s foster mom knew it was urgent to save her and immediately drove to pick her up before it’s too late. She was happy and wagging her tail and so happy to be in her home filled with love and proper care. They enjoy the company of all her rescued dogs where they learn to share everything from love to food to toys.

Mocara is doing really well in her foster home since the first day she arrives. She loves to play with all the dogs. And enjoys her daily hike around the mountain. Mocara is ready and patiently waiting for a home to call her own. She is spayed, vaccinated and chipped and de-wormed. Please give her a home so she can show you what a wonderful girl she is.
