Mike's Info...

Mike's Story...
This cute boy is Mike. He is a 13 week old German Shepherd/Lab mix. He currently weighs about 17 lbs but will probably end up about 60 lbs. He was found abandoned in the country at 10 weeks old with his other siblings.

In his foster home, he loves going for walks, playing with the other dogs, and chasing a tennis ball. He loves people and wants to spend his time snuggling with his foster parents. Mike would love a home where he gets lots of attention and exercise.

Mike is doing well with his potty-training but as a young puppy he will still need assistance. He is both leash and crate trained.

Mike is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on his vaccines. His adoption fee is $140.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mike, a Oklahoma City German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever for sale in Oklahoma City, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Oklahoma City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oklahoma City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oklahoma City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oklahoma City paves the way for another one to be saved.
