Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This sweet and handsome boy is Mike and he's looking for love. If you are looking for a laid back dog who is house trained, and loves to hang out-- then Mike is the dog for you.
He is an 9 month old Lab/German Shepherd mix. He currently weighs about 50 lbs but will probably end up about 60 lbs. In his foster home, he loves going for walks, playing with the other dogs, and chasing a tennis ball. He loves people and wants to spend his time hanging on the couch with his foster parents. He's a very sweet and happy dog who will make you smile and laugh everyday as even the way he sleeps is funny. He is pretty calm in the house as he loves nap time.
Mike is a gentle giant. He loves to take care of the new 6 week old foster puppies and lets them crawl all over him and bite his tail. He is just the sweetest boy.
Mike would love a home where he gets love, snuggles, and daily exercise. He is a good sweet boy and would be fine in a home with kids but due to his size, he'd do better with older children. He'd be fine as an only dog or with a dog friend.
Mike is house, leash, and crate trained. Mike is crated when his foster parents have to leave him during the day although he has been left free to roam in the house a few times and he isn't destructive nor does he have any accidents. He walks well on a leash. He also goes to doggie day care a couple days a week to play with dog friends and help with his socialization. He does well playing in small groups of dogs (up to 5 max) but becomes fearful when placed in a large group.
Mike is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on his vaccines. His adoption fee is $150.
