My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chester is a 9 month old, 10 pound Cairn Terrier mix. His previous owner dropped Chester, his brother Bingo, and their dad Rubble off at a small rural shelter. Chester had spent his entire life in a small outdoor pen and didn’t even have a name. Initially Chester was scared of people and worried about being in a home. He is a smart pup and quickly figured out people are ok and are there to pet and cuddle him. Chester is a typical puppy who is full of energy during the day, when the sun goes down he just wants a lap or another dog to cuddle with.
Chester is good with other dogs and cats and is still learning to trust people so is shy at first. Within an hour of meeting someone new he is ready to cuddle. He takes treats gently and sleeps through the night. Chester is doing really well at house training and has the hang of it. Wearing a collar and walking on a leash are all very new to him but he is doing great at it. He is learning his basic obedience commands quickly. Chester loves to play in the water and has mastered the art of fetch. He would love a home with another dog to play with and show him the ropes. Because Chester is tiny he needs a home with no children under 12.
Chester is up to date on vaccinations, neutered, and microchipped.
