Arlene's Story...
I know what you’re thinking- Why is such a pretty girl camera shy? Well let me tell ya, the camera is just about the only thing I am really shy of. I truly am a sweet girl, not conceded or over confidant, but a little nervous at first and need some help being socialized. I would play well with gentle children, other dogs and maybe even a cat! I am working on my crate training and would love some extra classes. I am just a great girl all around. Looking for a wonderful companion, pick me, Arlene!

1 year old-43lbs. My adoption fee is $220 and includes spay, microchip & registration, 1 month pet health insurance, reduced-cost training class, free vet exam, leash/collar, toy & treat packet, food sample.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Arlene, a Portland Australian Cattle Dog/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Portland, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
