This color-coordinated dynamic duo are named Sassy and Shadow! This gorgeous, all white, brother and sister came to us when their mom could no longer care for them as she was entering hospice. A City of Elderly Love foster family stepped up to give their former owner much deserved peace of mind and to keep Sassy and Shadow out of the shelter-system. At 14 years old, they each have their own delightful personalities and both have a ton of love to give!
Shadow is a strikingly handsome, long-haired boy with stunning odd-eyes. One is green and the other is blue! He loves nothing more than being pet and soaking up attention. This boy is a true purr machine! If he’s not following you around asking for pets, you can find him romping around, playing with his favorite toys like a kitten or looking out the window watching the world go by.
Sassy lives up to her name in the sweetest way possible. This stout girl will waddle her way into your heart. Belly rubs? Yes, please! Sassy can’t get enough of em. She is a lovable cat who would like to make herself comfortable hanging out on your lap. As cute as her plump figure is, we are currently feeding her prescription food to help her shed a few pounds so she can stay around for a long time!
Both Shadow and Sassy visited our vet and received their senior checkups and are in great health! Both cats were completely declawed much earlier in life. They are currently living with other animals, but have a space to themselves which they enjoy. We think they'd be happiest in low-key home where they can relax on the couch or the window sill and soak up the love. Sassy and Shadow, while having their own personalities, really do love each other and have been together their whole lives. We'd love to keep them together for their sunset years. Sassy and Shadow are available for adoption through City of Elderly Love. They are vaccinated, spayed/neutered, declawed, and will be microchipped prior to going to their new home.
