My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This striking dilute calico kitty came to Furry Friends Animal Rescue after taking a very long ride in the back of a truck bed from South Texas to North Dallas along with three littermates. Apparently momma kitty had tucked them away for safekeeping there unbeknownst to the truck's owner. Once discovered, the Good Samaritan who initially found them spent some time bottle feeding Gigi until she found our group to continue her care.

Bottle babies typically make amazing family pets and that is especially true with Gigi. Due to the fact she was handled and cared for by humans at such a young age, Gigi is interactive and highly affectionate towards people. She was also exposed early to a lot of household experiences including socialization with other dogs and cats (honestly prefers dogs), nail clipping and bathing.

Gigi doesn't have your typical meow, but rather a whole repertoire of tweets, chirrups and trills that she uses to get your attention. If the talking doesn't work, Gigi will also climb right up and sit on your shoulder like a parrot until she gets her snuggles.

Gigi is just a kitty with a ton of joie de vivre. She is litter box trained, gets along with other kitties and dogs. Gigi is eating Iams dry kitten food. Estimated date of birth is 4/6/17. Fill out an application on this sweet girl today!

NOTE: FIV positive. Asymptomatic. Not transmittable to people or dogs.

Anyone interested in our cats will be required to fill out an adoption application. To fill out an application on line, just go to www.furryfriendsanimalrescue.org and click on the Adoption Application link.
