My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Miss Chloe is a beautiful young lady who loves attention and is a very quick learner! She loves treats and if she isn't getting the one that is in your hand, she will sit right down and give you full eye contact. Kind of like she is trying to hypnotize you! "Give me the treeeeaaaaat. Give me the treeeeaaaat." And it works! She is so pretty and attentive, we cannot resist giving her the treat. She is a little shy and standoffish with new people, especially men, but she warms up with kind, gentle, patient attention. We haven't seen her around children but think she would be fine as long as the youngsters were kind and respectful. Chloe might be a bit frightened of too much commotion, energy, or effusive attention.

Chloe is a young lady, about 18-24 months. In her short life, she has had at least one litter of puppies which we know as she was rescued with her puppies. She is an independent lady now and has left her motherly duties behind. She is spayed and is ready to be in a home where she can be babied herself. Chloe is friendly with other dogs although not overly playful. Although she at first felt a little overwhelmed by the new group of dogs in her foster home, she has quickly become one of the pack.

Her pictures make her look bigger than she is, she is a rather petite pittie-type, weighing about 50 lbs. She is crate trained and will calmly hand out in her crate if necessary until her people come home to shower her with attention. She like to be outside as well but has a very thin bully-type coat so she gets cold easily on winter days.

Chloe is spayed, microchipped, tested heartworm negative, and current on vaccinations.
