Brooklyn Animal Action is so lucky to have some great fosters—like the one who rescued sweet Keegan from a backyard in Bergen Beach! It was swiftly discovered that Keegan was already neutered but not microchipped, and we think he may have been abandoned, though we have no idea how anyone could be so cruel to such a fantastic feline.

This young boy needs a little bit of time to warm up to new people, but once he does, he just loves petting time! He is definitely delighted to be back indoors, luxuriating in the safety and comfort. Keegan is a playful boy with his fellow felines, so he can either go to a home with another young cat for playtime, or to a home solo—as long as his human is home enough to give him all the attention he deserves and craves.

Keegan is neutered, FeLV/FIV negative, and up to date on vaccines. If you’d like to meet this handsome long-haired tabby, contact Tara at catsbkny@gmail.com!

Thank you for thinking of animals in need - your support allows us to help the next furry sweetheart!

All Brooklyn Animal Action dogs and cats are available to foster or adopt.

About Brooklyn Animal Action

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a Brooklyn-based group of volunteers committed to improving the lives of animals in distress by working with our communities. We are dedicated to Trap-Neuter-Release programs, finding homes for adoptable animals, performing community outreach and education, and engaging in advocacy.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Please email us at BrooklynAnimalAction@gmail.com if you are interested in meeting one of our rescued cats.

Our Adoption Process...

Interested adopters can visit our animals in their foster homes. If they would like to adopt one of our animals, they must fill out an adoption application. If that is approved, they then complete an adoption contract. We also ask for a donation to help us continue our work.
