Barney's Story...
Barney is a 13 pound, 4 year old male Shih Tzu. He is very fond of his people and will follow you everywhere. Poor Barney was found loaded with fleas and badly matted with overgrown toenails. It was obvious that his former owners did not care for him. In spite of all that, Barney loves people.

Barney has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and tested negative for heartworms. His adoption fee is $250.

If you are interested in adopting Barney, please write us at PricelessPets4U@gmail.com and ask for an application to adopt Barney. His adoption fee is $250.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Barney, a Atlanta Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Atlanta, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Atlanta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Atlanta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Atlanta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Atlanta paves the way for another one to be saved.
