FRIENDLY AND ACTIVE:  5 years old / 42 lbs.  Mostly Mutts adoption facility is open Mon-Sat. 11-4pm.  Some of us are in foster homes so please call 770-272-6888 1st to find out if I’m available to meet during the week.  I lost my home due to not getting along with the other dog in the home as well as the kids, so I’m looking for a home as an only dog and with no kids.  I can see myself enjoying a family that will be active with me and help me release my energy regularly, not that I’m over energized, I just need regular exercise.  Runs or hikes sound good to me and I did previously get to climb Kennesaw Mountain with a great group of KSU students and I loved that!  I’m smart and know ‘sit’, ‘down’, ‘stay’ and ‘look at me’, you can teach me more if you like!   I have very good potty manners per my previous owners and have not needed a crate.  I did bite a stranger one day while on a walk, so please keep a good hold of my leash.  I’m not sure why I did that, perhaps I thought they looked threatening or suspicious.  I love to run and play catch and will bring the ball back to keep the game going.  It takes me a minute to release the ball, but with positive reinforcement I’m also learning “drop the ball”!  I’m very playful and like having fun with my people.  I just want all the time and attention you can give, because it makes me feel loved.  I’m friendly and have bursts of puppy energy.  I’m a combination of higher energy and being sweet and pretty gentle.  I think once I get into a great home and get regular exercise, I’ll settle nicely into your routine. Energy level: 6–8. I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, neutered and my adoption fee is $275.00.

About Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue & Adoption

About Our Rescue Group...

Who We Are:

Mostly Mutts is a 501(c)3, non-profit organization, staffed almost entirely by volunteers!
Our Mission is to help the Unwanted, Abandoned, Abused and Sick animals in our local counties. We fulfill this mission by working closely with County Animal Control Facilities, saving those who are in imminent danger of euthanasia, or those with needs which require specialized vet care that many other groups will not consider: major orthopedic issues, heartworm positive treatment, skin conditions, neglect and abuse

Please visit our website, www.mostlymutts.org for additional information about adopting a new best friend!
