Belle loves children, squeaky toys and bones. She has a lot of energy so it is important that she goes to a family that has time to walk her and play catch. Her favorite balls are the ones that squeak when you squeeze them. She doesn't like any treats but milk bones. She doesn't like to be outside by herself for long periods of time or she will dig to entertain herself. She is completely vaccinated, she is spayed, and she has been given heartworm medication.she is crate trained and knows simple commands such as sit, lay down, shake, and stay. She was attacked by a big dog when she was a puppy so she is timid around other big dogs at first, but once she warms up she loves to play. She is very loving, sweet, playful and adventurous. She would be a fantastic dog for anybody who could provide exceptional love, care and lots of playtime. Another one of her favorite things to do is go on walks. She deserves a life full of happiness

All animals are up-to-date on vaccinations (including rabies if over 4 months old), microchipped, and spayed or neutered. All dogs have been been vaccinated with DHPP and Bordatella (kennel cough) and heartworm tested negative (if over 6 months).  All cats have been vaccinated with FVRCP and tested Feline Leukemia negative (if under 6 months) or Feline Leukemia and Feline AIDS negative (if over 6 months). Our Adoption Process...

See http://www.yolocountysheriff.com/anifees.html

To adopt you must have a photo ID and proof of your current address. If not on your ID then bring in a bill with your name and your current address. If you rent you must provide a lease clearly stating the pet policy or provide a name and phone number for your landlord so that we may confirm the pet policy. If you own your home you may provide a mortgage statement or property tax bill for proof. If you wish to adopt a dog and have other dog(s) at home, please bring them with you to the shelter so that they may meet. Even if your dog is wonderful with other dogs, many of the dogs at the shelter have come in as strays so we have no history on them and need to be sure they get along with your pet(s). If you have any other questions, please call the shelter for more information.
