Phillip will allow you to pet him. This cat is waiting for it's Forever Home! You can come to our facility Monday thru Friday from 5 pm to 7 pm, Saturday from noon to 4 pm, Sunday from 1 pm to 3 pm, and other times by appointment - Call 860-291-9396 for additional information or email firstname.lastname@example.org
Please understand that the cats behavior in the shelter is usually not what it will be like in your home, if the cat is nervous, anxious, or aggressive at the time please know that a shelter is a very stressful place for a cat.
Kitten Policy: It is important to understand that socialization of kittens with other animals as playmates is important for their development. Therefore, CCC has a policy that kittens are adopted in pairs unless there is another animal in the household as a playmate and companion. Due to demand, we are unable to place kittens on hold.
We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to the welfare of animals with a 'No-Kill' policy (with medical exceptions). Our efforts are focused primarily on finding loving homes for the many cats that are strays, abused, abandoned, surrendered or impounded. All animals are given medical attention and vaccinated before placement and spayed and neutered if at least four months of age. We are a small shelter comprised of 100% volunteers dedicated to helping homeless cats find their forever families.
