Vinnie's Story...
Meet Vinnie Mac! We have no idea what he is. Our best guess is mastiff/lab mix of some sort. What we do know is that this goofy boy is so sweet and loving! Vinnie has a knee issue. We think good nutrition and exercise are going to correct it as he grows but the vet wants to monitor it. This makes Vinnie a special needs baby. If you can offer Vinnie a foster or foster to adopt home please fill out the on-line application TODAY!

If you can offer that loving and responsible environment please fill out the on-line application at www.etnpitbullrescue.org If you would like to sponsor this pet or any other pet at East TN Pit Bull Rescue, you can do so by contacting us OR directly thru PayPal (our email account is donations@etnpitbullrescue.org). All donations are tax deductible and GREATLY appreciated! A $20 donation feeds a Pit Bull for one month, a $50 donation pays for a spay or neuter, a $100 donation will sponsor complete vetting for one of our guys.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Vinnie, a Harriman Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever for sale in Harriman, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Harriman.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Harriman already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Harriman breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Harriman paves the way for another one to be saved.
