Mia - Pending's Story...

Meet Mia! This beautiful 10 month old bully girl is looking for her forever home. Mia is currently in a home with dogs, cats and birds! She MOSTLY leaves the cats alone but not full-proof. She is crate trained and house trained. Being young - she can be a little too excited with younger children and chews if left to her own defenses. As a whole - this girl is an awesome pup and is going to be a much loved member of her new home. If you can offer Mia a loving and responsible home, please fill out the on-line application at www.etnpitbullrescue.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mia - Pending, a Harriman American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Harriman, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Harriman.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Harriman already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Harriman breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Harriman paves the way for another one to be saved.
