My story

This beautiful girl is Emmy!

Emmy is an approximately 6.5-year old female Pit Bull Terrier and weighs around 55 lbs. Emmy was found in Oklahoma City, in the middle of traffic, trying to cross a busy street.

Emmy is a fun girl who loves to play with toys (and destroy them). Her favorite thing in the whole world (besides spending time with her people) is a good squeaky toy! She loves to go on walks and cuddle. Emmy loves people, especially children of all ages, she is very gentle with them.

Although she has made a couple doggy friends at daycare, she needs to be an only dog. She is not overtly aggressive to other dogs but doesn’t mesh with all dogs. NO CATS OR OTHER SMALL CRITTERS. Emmy does not do well in the heat and CANNOT be left out in the heat for very long at all.

Emmy is leash and house trained. She is not a fan of crates but will settle in one, and is okay to be left in the house uncrated. She does best on an Easy Walker type of leash due to her strength. Emmy is a low-key girl.

EMMY IS CURRENTLY IN BOARDING AND IN NEED OF A FOREVER OR FOSTER HOME. SHE DOES QUALIFY AS A FOSTER-TO-ADOPT.

HOME CHECK REQUIRED.

STOCKADE FENCE REQUIRED, UNLESS IN AN APARTMENT.

Emmy is spayed, current on vaccines, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $150.
