found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Meet the Celestial Litter—named after the stars! They were abandoned by their mom, who is a stray, very clever Border Collie mix who was caught by animal control once and escaped. She has eluded capture since. We do not know the father of the puppies, but these pups appear to be Border Collie and Lab or a similar mix. There were 7 pups in the litter.
We currently have 2 boys and 1 girl available, listed below.
They were born on approximately April 22 so are 9 weeks old now.. We expect each to grow to be between 35 and 60 lbs. They all have medium length fur and are mostly black with small white highlights, except for Star, and Eclipse, who are mostly white.
They will need plenty of exercise, and their own secure outside area where they could have dog visits and people play time would be great. They are going to be active dogs with plenty of energy! So, they’ll need families who are also active. Many people with Border Collies or BC mixes participate in agility since the breed is fast!
These pups are adorable and playful! These pups do well with other dogs, are young enough to live with dog-friendly cats, and would do well with respectful children. They will need someone with a flexible schedule, who either works from home or can take them to work. They are just babies & will need a family with the time to train & socialize even through adulthood (which is true of all dogs!). And, obviously, someone who will heap on the love—you’ll get plenty of love in return!
If a puppy is listed under the AVAILABLE heading, they are still available and you may complete an online application. This page will be updated regularly.

The adoption fee is $400 each and includes basic puppy shots (DHLPP and rabies), de-wormer, and spay/neuter and microchip at the rescue’s vet on the rescue account once the puppies are old enough (5 to 7 months old). Even though our rescue is based in Eastern Washington, the puppies are being fostered in the Seattle area and we adopt to homes in the Puget Sound region, including Vancouver, BC and Portland, OR.

Meeting the puppies will require an approved application as we are all volunteers and the pups are in a foster home not a shelter (no exceptions). We expect to receive a lot of applications on these little ones so please be patient in waiting for a response.
