Roscoe ADOPTION PENDING's Story...
ADOPTION PENDING
Name: Roscoe
Breed: Siberian Husky/Alaskan Malamute mix
Sex: Male
Age: 1½ years
Cats: Unknown
Dogs: Good
Kids: Older

Hi, I’m Roscoe and I am estimated to be around 1½ years old. I am a youthful, happy boy and I just want to be with you! I do bark in separation, but I am getting better with that. I am house trained, but I do need to work on my crate manners. I can get a bit of travel sickness as I get anxious, so I need to have a towel in case I vomit, I do hope I get better at this.

As a young guy, I do jump up to get attention. For this reason, I am not recommended around young kids. I am looking for an active forever home to help me burn off some of this excitement and energy. My forever human would ideally take me to obedience classes to teach me the manners I have not yet learned. I am very soft and love to be pet! I am good with other dogs for the most part. I have not met a cat or other small animals.

I am microchipped and I am covered for my Rabies shot. I am intact and will be adopted on a strict neuter and non-breeding contract to be completed once I am more settled and less anxious. I do have an undescended testicle, so my neuter surgery will be more complicated. I am located in Tweed, ON and my adoption fee is $100.

Located in Plategenet, ON – $100 adoption fee
In foster – needs adopter
Looking for a home since June 2017

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roscoe ADOPTION PENDING, a Tweed Siberian Husky/Alaskan Malamute dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siberian Husky/Alaskan Malamute for sale in Tweed, or seeking a Siberian Husky/Alaskan Malamute dog from a breeder in Tweed.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tweed already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tweed breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siberian Husky/Alaskan Malamute breeders who help with Siberian Husky/Alaskan Malamute rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tweed paves the way for another one to be saved.
