My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bijou came to us with a compound fracture back in March. She was admitted to City Vet to be assessed by Dr. Effie on Tuesday and amputation surgery was scheduled on Wednesday, March 26th 2017. But Bijou had other plans when she gave birth to 3 babies early Wednesday morning. Surgery had to be postponed so we kept her on pain meds and an antibiotic for the next 8 weeks while she raised her babies. She was such a good mommy!

Her amputation surgery took place on May 24th 2017. She had an excellent recovery and is all healed. She was then spayed on June 19th 2017 and has healed well from that surgery as well. Now she is ready for her forever home! Bijou is a bit fearful and will need a very patient person to earn her trust. She will also need a home with carpet or non slippery flooring as she is a tripod. We prefer so goes to a home with older children or adult only.

**If you are new to house rabbits, please do your research before adding a bunny to your home. They are phenomenal companions but you must understand rabbit behavior and the level of care they require!**

We adopt out to indoor homes only! If you are under the age of 18 we will need a parent or legal guardian to contact us. Our adoption fee is $85 for a single bunny and $140 for a bonded pair.
