Here's what the humans have to say about me:
July 2017: Sweet DeeDee is about 9 months old as of July and appears to be a Shepherd mix. She was found in a very rural area and brought to our southern rescue partners. She is house-trained, crate-trained and loves other dogs, and adults and kids as well. She is OK with cats and she is a very good listener. DeeDee cannot be with chickens. She is a big kisser – if you love that in a dog she may be the one for you!
Now that she is here with us she is living in foster with male and female dogs and a cat and she just loves everybody. She is a champion snuggler and will hug you with both paws. She walks pretty well on a leash for such a young girl, and will make someone a great medium size companion!
DeeDee is about 52 lbs and should fill out a bit more as she grows up. She has had so much fun since arriving to Maine and looks forward to sharing adventures with her new family!

Please note, we do not have a physical facility where our dogs are housed, they are cared for in our network of wonderful foster homes throughout New England. If you find a dog you would like to meet, our expectation is that, once approved, you will travel to meet the dog in the foster setting where they are feeling safe and loved.
