Betsy is a sweet, friendly girl looking for a lap to snuggle on. She is housebroken, mellow and very good with other dogs her own size outside the home But Betsy would definitely prefer to be the only dog in her forever home. We don’t know how she gets along with cats or larger dogs. Betsy would enjoy a fully fenced yard so she could be off leash and exploring. Although friendly, she can be shy with new people and occasionally a bit skittish at sudden noises. She needs a relatively quiet home. She is a medium energy girl who is happy with a couple of walks a day and does well on a leash. Betsy likes riding in the car and is crate trained. She can be trusted to behave indoors when left on her own--she doesn’t chew furniture. She obeys a few commands but is smart and will respond to further training, especially if treats are involved And Betsy is very quiet for a terrier. . She doesn’t appear to shed and her coat is easy-care if brushed daily. Her most distinctive feature is her adorable prancing gait and goat-like hop. Betsy is about 8 years old and weighs 9 lbs. Betsy needs to be on leash at all times when outside or in a secure fenced area (not invisible fence) Betsy will do best in an adult only home or in a home with older respectful kids.
