Versace's Story...
****If you are interested in viewing this kitty, please go to VOKRA website http://www.orphankittenrescue.com/adopt and submit Adoption Application****

This beautiful shy boy is looking for a home that will help him build his confidence to match his good looks. Versace is a sweet cat who is slowly figuring out that life is not such a scary thing! While he will take some time to warm up to you, his little happy chirps and purring is a reward worth waiting for. Once he starts trusting you, his purrs and affection are easy to come by.

Versace needs to go to a home with a social cat to be his mentor. His foster brother has greatly helped him come out of his shell, and we think having an adopted sibling will work similar magic with him. He is quite affectionate with his foster brother, so he should be adopted into a home with a cat that will accept his frequent displays of affection and playful mood.

Must be adopted as a buddy to another cat

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Versace, a Vancouver Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Vancouver, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Vancouver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vancouver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vancouver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vancouver paves the way for another one to be saved.
