My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is helping facilitate the adoption of this cat. We take no responsibility for the health and medical records of this cat. It is the responsibility of the owner and adopter to discuss this. Jules is not in a Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue foster home but residing with his owner in El Dorado Hills, CA.

Jules
Born ~July, 2015, M, Orange With White Maine Coon

Here is a pair of beautiful boy cats who were adopted in 2015 as treasured companions by a cat loving couple. The couple had adopted a pair of kitties from our organization in 2008 and then in 2015 they adopted stunning Jules. Handsome Vince was adopted around the same time period.
Sadly, because of a tragic accident, their human dad contacted our organization to help find this bonded, happy pair of brothers a loving and permanent home.

Jules is an extremely friendly boy. He is inquisitive and able to entertain himself just fine. He is very sweet and, as anyone who has ever had the pleasure of coming in contact with an orange Maine Coon can attest to, they make wonderful, human-connected pets. His owner also commented that Jules has the loudest purr he has ever heard.

He needs to be carefully watched since on occasion he has managed to sneak out a door, and apparently he then “runs like a cheetah”. Of course, he and his brother are indoor only kitties – we are just forewarning their future parents to keep a watchful eye on Jules.

Vince, too, is extremely playful, loves attention, and has a puppy-like personality. Vince loves to be with his brother. He is very social with Jules and seems to rely on Jules for entertainment. When he was separated from Jules for a couple of days, he was a very sad boy. He may have been suffering from separation anxiety, so let’s make sure they get to stay together for as long as their little paws walk this earth.

Their owner shared with us that they have babied these boys since they are truly cat people. The boys require lots of attention. Despite their handsome looks, they are NOT “accessory cats”. Even though they are two years old, they are still very much kittens. Jules and Vince are funny and play with each other but they also crave and need a lot of human interaction. I’d say that makes them “dream cats”, but that’s just my opinion (editorial comment by the volunteer who loves cats and is owned by five of them).

Neither of them scratches furniture and they love their cat castle and scratching post.

Because they are still very playful, their owner doesn’t recommend them for small children, but they should be wonderful pets for older, respectful children.

They have not been around other cats or dogs, so we don’t know how they would react.

Jules and Vince are healthy boys. They eat both wet and dry food. They are using their litter boxes without any issues.

The last picture shows Jules as a kitten. Wasn’t he just super adorable? And look at how stunning he has become.

If you would like to give these magnificent boys a forever home, please contact Frauke at 925-784-8244 or loveallcats7@gmail.com and submit an Adoption Application.
Please note that Jules is not in a Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue foster home but residing with his current owner in El Dorado Hills, CA while being placed in his forever home.
