Cloud's Story...
Forecast – Cloud with a chance of adorable! See, my name is Cloud! I’m mostly white in color but you’ll see some splotches of black on me, too. Looks like someone got fingerprinted and left two fingerprint marks on my head, then another a little lower on the back of my neck. When I’m curling around and playing, showing my cutie-cute belly, you’ll see another spot. And wait until you see my tail! I stand out in a crowd. I’m the most playful young thing at the FOHA cattery, always looking for toys and climbing hither and yon. When people come to see me, I’m delighted to play and cavort…and get pets! Pets are the B-E-S-T! If I were a cloud in the sky, I’d definitely be a Cumulus cloud – fluffy and cotton-like. But I don’t want to live in the sky. I want to live in a home with a loving family. This Cloud will be a little ray of sunshine in your life, for sure!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cloud, a Aldie Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Aldie, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Aldie.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Aldie already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Aldie breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Aldie paves the way for another one to be saved.
