Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ziggy is a very sweet & affectionate Poo-chon (Bichon & Miniature Poodle Mix), Age 12, neutered, up to date on Vaccines, teeth cleaned & microchipped. He is good with kids and lived with a Cat. He is good around other dogs, but has not lived with one.
His only issue is he has separation anxiety when left all alone and will bark and cry. His family just moved into an apt in Brooklyn and signed a lease they can't get out of, and the neighbors have been complaining to the landlord that he barks all day when they our out at work and school.
They sadly have to give up Ziggy after having him for 12 years, and we need to find him a home with someone that either works from home, is a stay at home mom or retired person or couple looking for a very affectionate dog that loves to give kisses and cuddle next to you all the time. (As you can see from the photos... he loves to be right next to you and loves children too.
Won't someone give this wonderful boy a furever home? He would be a GREAT dog for retirees!

All adopters will need to submit to a virtual or in person home check, and vet reference checks. You need to live within 3 hours drive of the NYC/Northern NJ area to qualify. Some exceptions will be considered from farther as long as you are willing to drive to come get him
