Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, my name is Ranger. My mom was part of a backyard colony being TNR'd (trapped, neutered, and returned). I was about two weeks old when she brought us to the backyard. My siblings and I were scooped up and used as "bait" to trap our mom and then all of us were brought to a foster, kept in a big crate while we nursed and grew bigger. When we were weaned, our mom was spayed and put back in the yard because she did not want to be a people cat. But my sisters and I knew we were meant to be someone's adored family member.
My sister, Scout, was always the first to be out and about, but I was ready to follow, so my foster mom decided that the name Ranger suited me. I am pretty rowdy at the moment, have lots of "work" to do - so many toys and so little time! Balls, mice, feathers, and turbo scratcher are my favorites. But I am pretty sure I will become a snuggle bunny when I grow out of my kitten ways. For sure I will be loving and gentle. I have been around other cats, am pretty sure kids will be a blast and that I could get used to a dog.
I could probably be okay as an only cat but would prefer a companion, another cat, kid, dog, or adult around.
