Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pokey ~ DOB 2009 cocker girl was found in the middle of the road a couple years back. It took a couple of months to track down her original owner (no microchip, so went door-to-door in neighborhoods). Finally found the owner, who gave an excuse for why she was wandering around the middle of a busy street. "Well I already have a kid and found out I'm pregnant again, plus I just got a new kitten and didn't want her anymore so I opened the door and let her run free." Now her new owner can no longer keep her and she is looking for a furever home. She gets along great with other dogs, cats, babies/children, and small animals once she's properly introduced to them (she has been around rabbits, chickens, ducks, etc.).
