Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Eloise and my foster mom says I'm a princess. I like to think I am, too.. but she also says I could be a little more lady like. I'm very ambitious and persistent when it comes to doing my own thing, which comes from my breed's nature, so I need someone with a lot of patience, and/or someone who is experienced with my bullies! I'm still in a puppy state of mind and sometimes get mouthy when I don't get my own way (I've got puppy things to do! Stat!) but I just love people and will flop over any time there's an offer for a belly rub. Foster Mom Emily puts me in a kennel when she leaves, but I still have a lot to say when she does, and I eventually quiet down but I may not be a good fit for an apartment if your neighbors will mind!
I make friends with every dog and cat I meet, although sometimes I love cats more than they love me. I also love snuggling. I also love most people, but it's very important that they let me approach them at first and don't crowd my space!
*Eloise is heartworm positive, and will require treatment for up to a year to test negative. Her foster is willing to cover treatment, although it is a rather affordable monthly expense if her new adopters are willing to cover it.
