Bowie's Info...

Bowie's Story...
Bowie is a lover. He purrs the moment you pick him up. He follows you everywhere and attacks your feet. He is everything you'd expect from an orange tabby boy! Very playful, great with kids, dogs, and other cats, too. Rescued from the shelter when only 7 days old, he can make all your orange tabby dreams come true. He would definitely prefer a friend to play with (St. Francis has plenty to choose from!) and lots of attention from his humans, but is also great at entertaining himself. He wonders if YOU could be his forever human?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bowie, a Tampa Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
