Facts about Scrappy

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Gray Or Blue
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Female
  • ID#: 71527
  • Hair: Medium
Scappy found us October 2014. She showed up on our porch begging for food but stand offish. She was skin and bones and wolfed down any food we gave her and had hardly any hair. She was obviously abandoned and seemed to have had a bad experience with her previous home. Scrappy does have a food allergy and we have narrowed it down to either gluten or an allergy to a grain used in cat food. Either way we have found a food that works for her allergy, so we have been giving her Blue Buffalo cat food. She seems to do very well with that. She is a very sweet cat and likes to talk on her terms. She LOVES to have her head scratched and around her neck. She sleeps in our room at night and during the day. We brush her every couple days. Although she is a short haired cat, her fur is thick. She is not a lap cat, but likes to roll around on the floor by your feet. We have another cat, the alpha cat. Scrappy and her seem to get along, they don't hiss or fight. We have all of her records and she just got her yearly shots. She is not spayed, but she is an indoor cat and have not had issues with it.
