Facts about Easter

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Tortoiseshell
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Female
  • ID#: CLND-A-13
  • Hair: Unknown
While Easter's past is not totally clear, what is apparent is that she's learned to really distrust humans overall. She is a typical tortie in that she will gladly tell you about her day and give her opinion on many things. Easter will need a quiet, experienced, patient home without small children so that she can begin to show you how great a girl she can be.

About Chicagoland Animal Rescue NFP

About Our Rescue Group...

We are an all-volunteer foster home rescue. We rescue abandoned and unwanted cats from family relinquish situations, shelters, animal controls, and veterinarians.

Our cats are examined by a veterinarian, blood tested, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and parasite tested/treated. Adopters are provided with medical records, a rabies certificate, and information to help introduce the cat to their home. We also provide information about the cat that we have learned through foster and daily interaction by our volunteers.

Chicagoland Animal Rescue, NFP is an Illinois not-for-profit corporation and exempt organization under Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3).

Come Meet Our Pets...

We are at the Downers Grove PetSmart (1550 S. Butterfield Rd., Downers Grove IL) every Saturday and Sunday from 12pm-3pm (excepting holidays). Meet and greets can also be scheduled outside of our normal hours - please contact us to set up a time.

Our Adoption Process...

Phone and in-person interviews and meet and greet with the prospective adopter(s), require all parties fro the household to be participating and present for interviews, adoption fees vary depending on animal history and needs. Final determination made in the best interest of the adopter and animal, after time spent contemplating on both ends of the adoption process (both adoption counselor and adopter). We do not do same-day adoptions to ensure that the environment is best for both family and pet, and adopters are educated about this policy as well.
