My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We all know how we get that awww feeling when we see an adorable young puppy. Hallie is the kind of baby who snuggles in, loves you up and then puts her tiny head on your shoulder. She's so new and fresh with every possibility open to her. That's the case unless they're in a high-kill shelter that quickly runs out of space. We're so grateful for the efforts of our great Texas rescuer in saving Hallie...she could see that her temperament was so sweet and loving that she couldn't allow her to be euthanized.

Hallie was immediately brought to be vetted and then to a great foster home to receive pure love and begin her education. Hallie, at just 8 weeks old (expected to be approximately 8 lbs lbs when full-grown) is blossoming more each day..she's described as a silly, entertaining puppy with the cutest and scruffiest face ever.

Hallie is very sweet and so engaging that it's become a fun and rewarding experience for her rescuer. Hallie is cute as a button and so loving. She's like a blank slate...open and curious about everything around her.

Hallie is a gorgeous Toy Fox Terrier & Long Haired Chihuahua mix puppy (according to the shelter vets) with the cutest personality ever. Hallie's silly antics and humorous demeanor is just who she is...she just appears to be more entertaining than your average puppy.

If she is treated kindly with very clear behavioral guidelines, Hallie will become a well-adjusted adult dog who respects her people as her leaders. This is the kind of family we're searching for for this very smart and cuddly girl. We also feel it's very important that Hallie is provided with exercise and mental stimulation. Puppy socialization classes followed by positive reinforcement obedience group classes will make this puppy into a well-behaved and well-socialized adult dog.

We'd like Hallie's future to hold walks in the sunshine (she'd fit perfectly into a front or back back when her little legs get tired) and lots of time with her family. We're searching for a family for Hallie who spends lots of time at home...or when out and about chooses to include a fuzzy companion in their activities. Hallie can be taught that the car is a fun place that leads to great adventures out in the community and can therefore accompany her family just about anywhere.

Hallie will be arriving in Denver unfixed due to her very young age. Farfel's will be happy to cover all costs in regard to Hallie's spay and microchip if our Denver vet is used.

Hallie will be growing in a cottony-soft and scruffy post-shelter coat. Sudsy baths and frequent brushing combined with great nutrition will keep this puppy's coat healthy and silky-soft.

Hallie will be arriving on transport in Denver on Saturday 7/1/17. We're currently accepting applications for this cuddly and sweet puppy. If interested in this very lovable best friend, please fill out an application at http://farfelsrescue.com/adoption/ and submit to farfelsapps@gmail.com or fax to 303-443-7730.
