My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

CoCo is a fluffy tabby. Pouncing and playing are her trademarks. She loves to run around the room playing chase with one of her siblings. She thinks she is a hunter and likes to crouch low and pounce on a fluffy toy dangling from a stick or a sparkly ball, then runs away and goes again. She is sometimes mistaken for her sister Toto, who bears a striking resemblance to herself.

Behaviorally and socially, it’s best to adopt kittens in pairs, or into a home with a playful cat. Kittens really need a playmate in their forever home…they get to play and work off some of their energy and then snuggle with each other while you're not home. Check out our Pick A Pair page to see if one of CoCo's siblings is still available.

If you are only interested in adopting a single kitten, and you’re home most of the day, and able to spend interactive time with a kitten, we will consider adopting out a kitten older than 4 months. Each foster home knows the kitten’s personalities best, and we follow their recommendations for single placements.

You can meet CoCo at her current foster home, Wilmette Pet Center, 625 Green Bay Rd., 7 days a week during normal store hours. (www.wilmettepetcenter.com, 847-251-6750). Although she is so sweet you will want to take her home on the spot, you will need to submit an application.

CoCo's estimated date of birth is 4/16/17, and her adoption fee of $140 includes: vet exam, feline leukemia/FIV test (Mom tested - neg.), FVRCP (distemper combo) vaccination, deworming, microchip and spay.
