My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Up for adoption in Texas: Hershey

How much fun can one dog have with her ball? When you look at these glorious pictures, a lot!

Hershey is a loving dog. At approximately 7yrs old, she's still quite spunky. She can be out on the go and playing or just lie next to you and lounge. Her favorite things include playing ball, having her back scratched and sleeping.

Hershey does really well with other male dogs and submissive females. She enjoys her time at doggy day camps.

When we saved this poor girl the shelter was about to euthanize Hershey and her brother. We had them pulled out of the euthanasia room!

She is a very special girl who appears to have had a rough life.
Hershey would thrive in a home with lots of kindness, and consistency. She would do well in a chill household without kids and not attending events in crowded public places.

Hershey bonds tightly to "her" people and is an independent but absolutely affectionate dog in the home. She asks for pets and is content to lay next to you on the couch.

She is a happy girl who likes to play with toys or just hang out. She hangs out with her foster mom in her office every day all day.

Hershey is not high energy but does need daily walks and of course as you can see she loves to chase a ball!

She is likeable, lovable, and a really easy dog to take care of she does not destroy things. No separation anxiety. Totally trustworthy roaming free in the house.A great loyal companion.

This gorgeous girl is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and housebroken.
