Meet Frankie! Frankie is an 8 year old Carolina dog mix who is looking for his forever home. Frankie's owner passed away unexpectedly and he's been lonely ever since. He is hoping you might be the person to turn things around for him. Frankie would love a quiet and comfortable home to spend his days in. He loves to play fetch and as long as your willing to throw that ball...he is there to fetch it for you. He would make a great companion for hikes and would enjoy a fenced in yard to get his occasional old man zoomies out. Frankie prefers to have his humans to himself as he ages, so he would do best in a home without other dogs or small children. He would be best homed with an owner experienced in Carolina Dog, Husky, or Shepherd breeds. If you think Frankie could be the right fit for you, send us an email for an application to adopt:

About The Grateful Dog Animal Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

The Grateful Dog Animal Rescue is an all breed, no kill animal rescue group that saves dogs from high kill shelters in the rural south. We rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home our dogs through a careful adoption process to ensure a lifelong happy and structured foundation for our Grateful Dogs.

Come Meet Our Pets...

It is important to know that we are not a shelter and we do not have a physical location. Our rescue is based out of foster homes.
Send us an e-mail and we will get you started with an application and answer any questions you might have!

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption fees are $375. The adoption fee covers our dogs being up to date on all vaccinations, preventatives, spayed/neutered, and microchipped.
