This beautiful girl is Fawn, and she is a Border Collie mix. Our partner vet estimates that she is around 10 months of age. She weighs 30 pounds. We expect that she will get a tad bigger, but not too much. She is an absolute doll! Fawn is a very sweet, loving girl who knows how to walk on a leash! Her ideal home will have another dog her size or larger. She’s very friendly and social – and we know she is fine with older kids who know to treat dogs gently. She is very smart, and will take to consistent training well.
She is a herding dog, so applicants with herding dog experience will be given preference but this is not required. Fawn's family should plan on participating in activities that are both physically and mentally stimulating. Border Collie's are known for their intelligence and thrive in environments that provide exercise for the body and mind.
Fawn's adoption donation fee is $325, which includes spay/neuter, routine vetting and a microchip. You can apply for Fawn by filling out our online application, which is found on our website www.tarashouse.net or www.tarashouse.org. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.
